Privacy Policy

Galsig is a free utility app developed by Galaxy Signals. It combines a Data Usage Calculator and a WiFi Password Strength Checker into one lightweight, offline-first tool.

This Privacy Policy explains our data practices. Because Galsig operates entirely on your device without any internet connection, network requests, or backend servers, this policy is straightforward: we collect nothing.

We collect no data whatsoever. Galsig does not collect, store, transmit, or share any information about you or your device.

Specifically, we do not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
• Device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID, serial number)
• Location data (GPS, network-based, or IP-based)
• Usage analytics or app interaction data
• Passwords or any text entered into the app
• Data usage figures you calculate in the app
• Crash reports or diagnostic data
• Cookies, tokens, or tracking identifiers of any kind

All calculations performed in the app are done entirely in memory on your device and are discarded when you close the app.

Galsig requests zero device permissions. When you install the app, you will not be prompted to grant access to any sensitive device features.

The app does not access:

• Camera or microphone
• Contacts or call logs
• File storage or external media
• Location services
• Network or WiFi state
• Notifications or background services
• Biometric data

Galsig is designed to work 100% offline. The app does not connect to the internet, any external servers, or cloud services at any time; not during launch, not during use, and not in the background.

Because no network connection is ever established, it is technically impossible for any data to leave your device while using Galsig. All features including the Data Calculator and Password Strength Checker run exclusively using your device's local processing power.

Galsig does not integrate with any third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or social media services.

The following are explicitly not used in Galsig:

• Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or any analytics SDK
• AdMob, Meta Audience Network, or any ad network
• Crashlytics, Sentry, or any crash reporting service
• Facebook SDK, Twitter SDK, or any social login
• Any payment or subscription processing service

The only external dependency used is the Google Fonts library, which is bundled locally within the app and does not make any network requests at runtime.

Galsig is safe for users of all ages. Because we collect absolutely no data from any user, there is no risk of children's personal information being collected or misused. The app contains no ads, no in-app purchases, and no external links that could direct children to third-party services.

The best way to protect your data is to never collect it and that is exactly our approach. Since Galsig stores no data on device and transmits nothing over any network, there is no data at risk of breach, theft, or misuse.

Passwords entered into the Password Strength Checker are processed locally in memory and are never stored, logged, or transmitted. They are permanently discarded the moment you clear the input field or close the app.

Galaxy Signals reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a Last Updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Continued use of the Galsig app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. If we ever introduce features that involve data collection in future versions, we will notify users clearly and seek appropriate consent.
